Youth Affirmation Initiative

Youth want to feel:

  • Valued – They want to receive and give unconditional love.
  • Accepted – They want to be accepted for who they are as opposed to what others may want them to be. They want to feel as if they belong.
  • Important – They want to feel as if they matter.
  • Helpful – They want to feel needed.
  • Empowered – They want to learn how to fly on their own wings.
  • Capable – of accomplishing their hopes and dreams.

Shotokwan Philosophy

Live as the thorn to the rose. Remain sharp while always ready to preserve and protect!

  • Knowledge in the mind
  • Strength in the body
  • Courage in the heart

Karate is an ancient art of self-defense that teaches self-awareness and self-discipline. The art itself cultivates self-control and body conditioning.

All aspects of combat and confrontation are covered as you progress to the ranks. Karate is for everyone. All you need is the willingness to learn and the ability to follow instructions.
